My name is Megan, and I am an artist working in the Kansas City area. I love to create art of all kinds, but I mainly stick to painting and photography these days.

Art and creating in general have always been things I love. I can remember at a very young age covering my parent’s driveway with sidewalk chalk, illustrating entire books I made up, loving every minute of my art classes in school, and getting lost in whatever I was creating. This carried through my elementary and high school years. After graduating from Kansas State University with a BFA in Graphic Design, I worked in advertising as an Art Director for five years before my husband’s job moved us away from home for one year. During that year away, I took advantage of my new jobless life and started creating again. I dove into painting, and soon started to pick up my camera as a hobby.

Fast forward another seven years, and here we are. My photography “hobby” has evolved into a business, and my paintings are still something I love to create for my clients homes.
